Lacey Hayes Named to TNCPE Board of Directors

Lacey Hayes, director of marketing and communications for Caris Healthcare, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE). Hayes was named to the TNCPE Board of Examiners in 2018, reviewing and evaluating applications for the TNCPE Award Program. The program recognizes local, state and regional organizations that demonstrate excellence in business operations and results.

“Lacey’s selection to serve on the TNCPE Board of Directors is a testament to her commitment to excellence,” Caris Healthcare President and CEO Paul Saylor said. “She is a champion of high-quality hospice care as well as a leader in the recognition of excellence among all organizations.”

As an examiner, Hayes used expertise developed during TNCPE training and workplace assessments to help benefit and improve other workplaces and support organizational excellence in Tennessee.

The TNCPE Board of Directors includes regional experts from several sectors, including health care, service, nonprofit, manufacturing, education and government. The organization offers training in the Baldrige Excellence FrameworkTM, a nationally recognized approach to performance as a unified whole that evaluates leadership; strategy; customers; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; workforce; operations; and results.

Hayes has been part of the Caris team for more than seven years. She is currently obtaining a master’s degree in business analytics from Lincoln Memorial University and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the University of Tennessee. She also studied international public relations at Universitá degli Studi di Urbino in Italy.
