Caris Healthcare is pleased to announce a new program designed to enrich the lives of our patients. The Sunshine Creative Arts program brings joy and comfort to hospice patients through creative arts like music, writing, art, and games. By nurturing the spirit through expression, patients can rediscover passions, ease stress, and find purpose, connection, and lasting memories. 

Volunteer Coordinator Angela Sparks of our Lawrenceburg office has been offering this program to our patients there and shared that it has brought great joy to both her patients and families. 

“Ms. Helen is a wonderful example of the benefits of this program. She eagerly looks forward to art class every Tuesday evening and proudly shares her artwork with her daughter during visits.” Angela added, “Her daughter shared that her mother is so proud of her art that she excitedly shows off her new creations each week.” Through this program, Ms. Helen expresses her creativity while building meaningful, lasting memories and friendships.”
