Palliative care is a specialized form of healthcare which provides comfort care and symptom control for patients with serious illnesses. Caris Palliative Care comes to the patient, whether at home or in a facility.
We can manage most needs and symptoms from the comfort of the patient’s residence, without having to go back and forth to the hospital. Palliative care is not hospice care. While both services focus on comfort care, palliative care is available for anyone who is seriously ill. You may also receive palliative care services along with curative treatment.

In addition to treatment, patients and caregivers are taught ways to control symptoms and given tips on medication management.
