(Murfreesboro, TN, October 19) The Caris Healthcare senior leadership team on Tuesday traveled from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to join Central and West region Caris employees for a day of learning and information sharing and an evening of celebration at the annual Leadership Development Institute. During the daylong meeting, Caris leadership updated employees on the company’s performance, after which employees engaged in a number of hospice education sessions. The evening was reserved for celebrating the past year of providing Hospice Care with Grace at our annual Caris World Class Awards Banquet. I believe the meeting and the presentations are essential—, but I really enjoy the awards banquet.
Our job at Caris Healthcare is a serious one—to take care of patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. And we indeed take that job very seriously. The annual awards banquet gives your Caris leadership team the opportunity to show how much we appreciate the professionalism, team spirit, dedication and commitment of Caris employees who help us realize our vision of being a World Class hospice. The banquet also gives us the opportunity to celebrate those who have been nominated by their peers for a Caris World Class Award. World Class Award winners, as you know, are Caris employees who consistently go above and beyond their job description. In doing the work they do to earn a Caris World Class Award, our employees are living our Caris Value of Service. And in honoring their achievements, all of us are living our Caris Value of Respect.
Please join me in thanking and congratulating the following Central and West region employees for their dedication and role model behavior:
Caris Healthcare also recognizes the collective team effort of individual offices that are the most successful in meeting and/or exceeding Caris goals through Caris Excellence Certification. This award promotes team work and encourages offices to obtain the highest level of achievement regarding Caris goals. This year’s Central Region office winner is Caris Crossville, Tennessee.
This year’s West Region office winner is Caris St. Louis, Missouri. The Crossville and St. Louis office accepted the award at the banquet in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
