Before we begin caring for any patient, we first ask the three most important things we need to know about them to provide customized care.
For Ms. Mary Braddy, those include her love of playing bingo, socializing, and getting her nails done.
In fact, at her assisted living facility Ms. Mary Braddy is the self-proclaimed “Queen of Bingo.” Playing daily is what keeps her spirits high and gives her the socialization she loves. Knowing this, the Lenoir City team worked together to provide a very special evening for Ms. Braddy. With the help of the assisted living facility’s transportation driver, Ms. Braddy’s evening began with being whisked away to be pampered and have her nails done. After that, Ms. Braddy was taken to Forever Fresco Mexican restaurant for a huge surprise.
Waiting for her was not only her family but her Lenoir City care team, including Administrator Kelly, Office Manager Tracy, Nurse Sally, and Hospice Health Aides David and Jessica for a fun night of bingo! David hosted the game night for the entire restaurant, and Ms. Braddy had a blast. To conclude the evening, Ms. Braddy was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by the restaurant staff, which even happened to match her new nail color. We love getting to know our patients and celebrating the things that make them special.
